Holy crap x2!!!! In general my thesis proff is very disappointed with the ideas my class came up with
stress level = sky high
there's a chance the proff is okay with at least one of my ideas, but I think I should go into this week's class with a mindset that he hates it with all his heart... just so that I don't start freaking out about it all over again...
need to start reworking ideas....

The most anticipated time of the year has come! The scheduling of class times for this school year!! ( WOOO )
I'm very glad that I got my Liberal Studies out of the way this summer (well, still in the middle of one class). The work load seems so much lighter without them, and with a surprising two day off for the Fall semester. (Even though I know that I'll end up slacking on those days)
The only thing I'm not quite sure of for these schedules is the drawing class in Winter semester and whether to take that 8:30 class or the next class at 12:30... I'm assuming that the 12:30 class would be pretty huge, seeing the only other times for the class is at 8:30 in the morning. But if I did stick with the morning, that will leave me with a huge gap in between classes... (which may be a good time to work on other stuff, especially now that the illustration tables are ours) I'm also not particularly sure of the expansion course for Winter. The one I have right now seems like it could be interesting, but I still have a week or so to decide. It was either that one or Motion Graphics (or a Fine Arts course like printmaking)
but anyways, ramblings aside (even though this whole lj is just rambling), I can't think of anything good for thesis. A lot of my ideas seem so bland and cliched, so I have a long way to go. I'm feeling the shortness of 4 months.
My laptop is still in the shop... I really need to go and check up on that to see what's up... aaand... that's it?
that's it.

So my laptop broke a week or two ago, and it's in the shop... I actually got a call from them, and they left a message on my cellphone... But of course, I don't know the password numbers to listen to my messages, so I don't know what they need to say. This results is me going in on Monday and asking them. But anywaysss
I also need to pay my month's rent on Monday. It's weird because over the school year, you pay per semester and not per month. I'm actually not sure if I can directly pay with the credit card. A cheque would probably be more suitable....
Have you guys ever gone to the Yahoo Answers site and randomly look through the questions some people ask? It's randomly addicting. Also, there're also a lot of "am i pretty? [pics included]" questions, where teens post pictures of themselves and look for praise (they all look the same!). And then there are questions asked by 13 year olds and how they lost their virginity... It's just a tad weird. Just a bit. I'm glad I was born in the generation I was, and not any later.
It's 2:30, and I have yet to shower... I need a job!
random edit: I realized that for the past few entries, I've started it with "So".....

So for a week or so now, my laptop's AC adapter's wire (the very end part where it connects to where it jacks into the laptop) has gotten torn (the outer rubber/plasticy part), and proceeded to become a gaping hole. I can now see the inner wires... Also, while I was cleaning the keypad, I decided that I should pop off the Shift key to clean under it throughly (I do this often with other keys and usually have no problem doing it), but this time, I broke off a part of the plastic that connects to the actual keypad when I was trying to put it back on. This makes the Shift key loose and fall off after I've pressed it a couple of times... This also happened to my }] key a while ago, and it's still half hanging onto the keypad...
Anyways. All in all, I'm thinking that maybe I should get a new laptop. Seeing that this one's almost 4 years old, and is acting up in general (and being slooowwww at times). Maybe I'll get a Macbook. but at the same time, I don't want to part with this one. I would need to replace the AC adapter pretty soon anyways, unless I want to see it start smoking and burst into flames.
but yup.. That's all... Macbook pro?! yes? no?!

So because it's nearing the end of April, a lot of my unitmates are already moving out. I would usually be doing the same, but because I'm staying in Toronto this summer (WOOO) I'm not moving... yet. I need to move down to the 8th floor (from the 15th) because the building is half used as a hotel during the summer, and the students who are staying for the summer get all clumped up to a few floors. But anyways.
Not only is moving a hassle and annoying, but because I was sharing my Internet with my unitmates all school year, and the person who was managing the Nets already went back to Winnipeg, I'm Netless..... sucks Soooo, I'm not going to be online much until I move into my new Unit next week, and even then I would probably need to set up the Net there too, which'll take another few days or weeks.... I'll probably swing by school to use their net, and check up on stuff and such, but probably not much...
anyways. that is all...

So to just organize my thoughts and schedules, I thought I would just post up what's upcoming and due for myself....
( I should probably just keep a normal agenda )
In other news, my credit card works!!!

So yesterday on my way home from school, I decided to go to Dominion to go buy some snacks, like I always do. Seeing I only had $10 and a few change in my pocket, I decided that I would just use my credit card if it exceeded the amount that I had in my wallet. To my surprise, it came to a $12 and something cents, so I handed the exact change to the cashier, and I was off on my way home. I also happened to tuck my credit card into my jeans pocket with my swipe card and keys because I was too lazy to take out my wallet and put the card back in. Seeing that my laundry has been piling up for a long time now, I thought I would be very productive and actually get off my lazy arse and be clean. So I threw all the clothes into my basket, then took out my keys and my coins from my pants and threw my jeans in too, and I lugged the basket up, dumped them in the machine, put $1.25 in.....
everyone who does laundry, I have a warning for you all... make sure you take everything out of your pockets before putting them in the wash
in the end, my credit card is all flattened and warped because of the heat of the dryer....
sigh
( RIP )

So I went to school today to buy some art supplies for homework due next week that I haven't started yet, and it seems like it was one of the portfolio interview days where potential students come and get interviewed to get accepted into OCAD.
It felt rather strange... Probably because it hit me that I'm 20, and that I'm graduating next year
I also pondered about whether I look like I go to art school
